Well, two years to go until she officially becomes a teenager. Lexie turned 11 recently, which means as her father I'm even closer to the reality of BOYS and DATES and things like that, which always has been kind of a joke but is really starting to hit home for me recently for some reason. And, of course only 7 years until she's officially an ADULT. Wow, where is the time going? We had a nice quiet birthday with her (it was a school day, she's a having her party a little later). She woke up to her assortment of presents (Wii games, a new iPod docking clock radio thingy for her room, and a bunch of clothes), but then had to take off for school. After school we took her to see Juno and out for some dinner. Then we got home and played some pool and relaxed as a family. Pretty nice really, but I'm sure she's looking forward to the "official" party.
